A Quick Look at the Seeker

From the depths of the forest comes a primal hunter. Whispering words that were ancient when the world was young, he binds the spirit of decay into a slender arrow. Taking aim at an orc, he lets the arrow fly and watches as it hits its mark. The orc can do nothing but watch in horror as spores erupt from the point of impact, coalescing into four fungal blooms around him, filling the area with their poisonous presence. I will need to play it.
I liked what A Hero Twice a Month had to say about seekers.
If you are interested in a second opinion about the seeker you may want to listen to The Power Source because they just hate it. ( I do not want you guys to war with them,. just check it out if you want)
I guess I can see what they are saying but I agree with Rob more. Playing it will flush out the truth.

Don't worry about starting a war.
I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but I am interested to hear what they have to say. I like hearing an opposing opinion as long as the conversation remains civil and doesn't degenerate to pointless name calling.
For example, I was elated that the first comment on my post about Pushy Powergamers defended the practice. While I still don't agree, I think that Cooperflood did make some interesting points. Similarly, Bob H and I usually have polar opposite opinions about gaming on the Lords of Tyr podcast, but we get along fine in real life.
It boils down to the fact that gaming is a very personal experience. I realize that what works for me may not work for everyone else. More importantly though, I realize that my tastes and opinions may change over time, and that you never know where inspiration for that next great character will come from. I have often made up a character class/race combo just to see what the fuss was about. Sometimes I have ended up having a great time playing a character type I never would have expected to enjoy. Sometimes, not so much.
The advantage of RPGs is that you aren't stuck with the choices you make. After all, you can always reroll.
Sincerely,
A Hero
