Sam (for Chad's Game) character sketch

At first appearance, Sam appears to be a normal lad of 8 or 9 years old. Loose fitting peasant clothing and soft shoes conceal a number of small stilettos, each well balanced for hurling. A heavily patch worked leather jack (at least one size too large) makes a passable attempt at armoring Sam's light frame, as few opponents are likely to attack the legs of someone under four feet tall. The well worn brass hilts of a pair of gypsy style long curved knives can sometimes be seen in the shadows of the leather sleeves, and a broad elven style arrowhead hangs about her neck on a leather thong like an amulet.

Almirith's Backstory (for Chad's game)

Almirith's parents were from different worlds.  His father was Mindartis, an eladrin noble from the Willow Court in the Summer Kingdom.  Mindartis was young and adventurous, so he was often sent on missions abroad by his mother, the Willow Queen.

One of his missions was to determine the identity of a poacher who had killed one of the Willow Queen’s favored white harts.  Mindartis used his fey magic  to locate the poacher, but the poacher was not what he was expecting.  Rather than a foul goblin or tricky quickling, the poacher was a beautiful elf maiden.

Merry Christmas!

'Nuff said.

Wizards is down again?!?

Once again I am having issues with D&D Insider.  This time it is giving me the message "This service is temporarily disabled" when I attempt to login.  It's been like this for at several hours.

Hopefully it wiill be back soon.

Margila's Ley

Three united in the past,

a temple built and spells did cast.

Fell powers grew and took the land

and peoples 'round as they had planned

Three keys without a lock they made

of gold and gems and overlaid

with spells; three tools would mortals wield

to force all powers of good to yield.

But armies cane with weapons bared

while evil was yet unprepared.

Grove and tower and many crowns

and peoples of the fields and towns.

The stones were split, keys cast away,

as to the fell came judgement day.

They hid the gold and sent the rocks

to cashes four, with magic locks.

In hiding these one fell behind;

when gods escaped, it was confined

amongst it's own - it's very lair

became it's prison and despair.

The fortress ruined and torn apart

and left with chains around the heart

of evil power - but the keys

were never found in the debris.

They know not where it dwells today

to guide it's minions in the way

to lift her temple high again

Lords of Tyr Web Sightings

Hey there readers (and listeners!). I just wanted to make sure to shed some light on some blogs out there that we are getting some mentions from.

Firstly, of course, our very own Rob at his blog "A Hero Twice a Month".

But we also have Questing DM. This blog is also part of the RPG Bloggers Network and has some great content and lots of links to other resources.

Finally we have Bibliophile Stalker. This site has so many links and interesting tidbits I don't know where to start. But if you are literary minded and like RPGs, then this is a great blog for you.

The feeds are up for Questing DM and Bibliophile Stalker. Check them out in the righthand column!
