And the Next Campaign Setting is ...

Wizards gives us a look ahead into 2010.
Some highlights
- Dark Sun setting
- "Little" books - Dragonborn, tieflings, locations (Hammerfast
- Player's Handbook 3 - Psionics!
- Player Strategy Guide
- Tomb of Horrors
I'm not a huge player of "Settings" in general. Its the specifics that matter to me. It comes down to the specific adventure to me. If the DM provides enough "setting" and meat in a specific adventure then I'm happy. I'm not sure an entire adventure setting book from Wizards is really required for that to happen. I'm open to other opinions though. What do you readers think? You can bet we'll find out from the Lords of Tyr soon in our next podcast!

I was wrong
I got some bad dope at Origins saying it would be Dragonlance. I like the selection of Dark Sun better though. Imay liook bad but this makes me happy.

I was kind of bummed out
I was kind of bummed out that it was Dark Sun. I wasn't a consumer of it previously, but I really love Dragon Lance. I think 4E lends itself really well to a Dragon Lance setting. I'll just have to wait until the next release perhaps!
Its fun to speculate regardless. Keep your ear to the ground and keep up with the rumor mill. We love it!
