No more xp!

So i have decided to try out a far different system for level advancement.  we are going to forgo xp in favor of a constant party level for each character.  xp "bonuses" will still be available to cast spells with and craft.  These points may also be used to "aquire" items and the like between sessions assuming that they meet my approval (and the storyline permits).  I am currently working out the details of how much certain people should have as a bonus... but sufice it to say that where your xp was relative to the "new character" xp should be a rough indication.   Bearing that in mind, you might want to provide a *short* wishlist of items (masterwork or magical), equipment, and other special things (for example i might allow a cohort to start with some equipment purchased from that fund).  No list will just mean that i might have to delay your godies slightly.  Bear in mind that this is in addition to an already treasure rich game.  The main issue in this module (especially as i have adjusted it) is a lack of a place to resonably exchange one item for another (scrolls and potions aside).  Because of this i mainly intend this to provide acess to mainline class tool items (magic double scimitar if needed since god knows they do not appear in many modules, or a relic if you intend to use the true believer feat).

level ups

ok, sorry about the lack of updates to my game.  i was behind even before the holidays and hadn't thought i would be available to run before next month.  that being said, everyone should be level 3 that isn't already... though if you aren't able to level up pre game, it shouldn't be a huge issue.  

for those of you that need special information as regards to a non-core class or feat desired, just hold off one more time, or call me up pre game.

Second level

At this point everyone is second level. This will apply even to new characters brought in to replace dead ones. Since the module limits resources severely durring the early parts, anyone bringing in a new second level character will NOT get second level starting gold, but instead will gain 3 times what a first level character would (remember we are using the average).
