I just wanted to point out that uStream's RSS feeds finally work! I don't know when they started working, but I do remember them being broken for a really really really long time. So now you will notice that all of our Game Night Live and Podcast Live videos are easy to find on the upper right hand corner of the page. Why is the new video feed so exciting? Well, I'm kind of slow getting those podcasts edited, especially since the twins were born. Now its easier than ever to grab the podcast direct from uStream, either live, or anytime after the fact.

If you haven't noticed, we are all over the first page of the Google searches for Dungeons and Dragons Podcast, and if you click on the Video search you will see my smiling face a number of times. Scary! :) So for all you new comers, welcome! Don't be strangers. We love feedback and ideas for articles and shows. Leave us comments or drop anyone of us a note. You can contact us by clicking right on my user name attached to any article (as long as you have an ID on the website already).

Last week I was trying to catch up on my Google Reader feed, when a post by ChattyDM caught my eye.  "The Briarthorn Needle, Gnomish Airship" was a neat mini campaign he was rolling out.  In the post found here, he inserted some photos of the game's battlemap depicting the aforementioned Airship.  It got me thinking, since we at the Lords of Tyr use MapTools, what would our map look like?  So I took Chatty's pictures, the Great Cloud Caper, and cracked open Photoshop to see what could be done.

I started building the Main Deck, since I needed a place for spatial reference. 

I flushed out he captain's quarters a bit and modified one of the cannon rooms.

Well now I've gone and done it! I just submitted our podcast to the Ennies. I am proud of our rag tag Lords and Ladies of Tyr and how much fun we have had doing these podcasts. Our 1000+ and growing listenership tells me that we are doing something interesting. I have really enjoyed seeing our little podcast grow. I have especially enjoyed our podcasts with our special guests over the last year. So here is to the competition! I was looking at the list of podcasts so far that have entered and I have been a listener to them all. Why? Because they are darn good podcasts. I won't feel bad if we don't win. There are many deserving entries and I have enoyed their shows almost as much as I enjoy ours.
