Captain Kirk's Father is the New Thor (maybe)!
Submitted by Chadarius on Sun, 05/17/2009 - 14:03Check out this article from Nikki Finke. While it seems like this may be unconfirmed, it doesn't really bother me that much. I was hoping that Alexander Skarsgard might get the role, but after seeing the most recent Star Trek, I think Chris Hemsworth (Captain Kirk's Father) did an amazing acting job with the short screen time that he had. He really commanded the screen. I know I got a pit in my stomach when I realized the sacrifice he was going to make. If Kenneth Brannaugh thinks he's right then I think he's going to be great. Kenneth Brannaugh knows his Shakespearean Battle flicks and as far as I can figure, that is what Thor should be in many ways too. By Odin let it be so!
